¿ìèÊÓƵ Executive Director Patrick Plonski travelled overseas earlier this month to visit with partners in Ghana and Sierra Leone.

¿ìèÊÓƵ, with generous sponsorship from the local group Educate Tanzania, recently shipped a diverse collection of books to KARUCO College in Tanzania. Read more about these books, including specialized agriculture books, in our latest success story!

In summer 2023, ¿ìèÊÓƵ shipped a container of books to the Lowapi Study Centre in Botswana. Check out the arrival video and read about the incredible work they’ve been doing ever since!

Claude and Barbara Mayfield started a small books project in Zimbabwe in the 1990s when they retired from their textile business in South Africa. With the help of ¿ìèÊÓƵ (¿ìèÊÓƵ) and other nonprofits, the couple has sent two million books to over 60,000 students in rural Zimbabwe.

Earlier this year, ¿ìèÊÓƵ partnered with Libraries for Kids International to execute a project funded by the Grand Circle Foundation, a long-time ally. Together, we sent a 40-foot container of books to Amboseli, Kenya.

¿ìèÊÓƵ recently sent a 10-container shipment of high-level books to Nigeria in partnership with the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation. VIPs were in attendance for the departure of the last containers.
