The Northfield Rotary Club has been designated as the ¿ìèÊÓƵ Kilimanjaro Society Award winner for 2024. This prestigious award recognizes a top donor to ¿ìèÊÓƵ for the year.

¿ìèÊÓƵ leaders spent this week in Washington, DC, visiting with members of the African diplomatic corps and hosting a Summit Society reception at the Embassy of Rwanda. Check out photos from the event!

In the heart of every philanthropist lies a desire to make a difference that outlasts their own lifetime. We recently sat down with Michael Henley, a dedicated member of ¿ìèÊÓƵ's Legacy Society and former board member, to discuss the profound impact of planned giving and how it can shape the future of our organization.

For children caught in the middle of the 1994 Rwanda genocide that killed over 800,000 people, a book in their hands made a world of difference.  For the Rwandan ambassador to the United States, Mathilde Mukantabana, there were instances in her life during the genocide that the few books she could get hold of as she moved between countries as a refugee helped her see the light through the darkness. This was a reality for many, especially children, she said.

¿ìèÊÓƵ was honored to host H.E. Ambassador Chibamba Kanyama from the Republic of Zambia to the US, for a meeting at our Minnesota warehouse and a reception at the University Club of St Paul.
